The Vivo V80 is set to become one of Vivo’s most talked-about smartphones in India, particularly among users who prioritise cameras, portrait photography, battery life and stylish design. Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will launch in India on 6 October 2026 at 12 noon, with the smartphone set to be available through Vivo’s online store, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail channels.
The company has already revealed several major specifications of the upcoming smartphone, including a 144Hz 1.5K OLED display, a 7,200mAh battery, 90W charging and a ZEISS-backed camera system. The India price, however, has not yet been officially announced.

The official Vivo V80 price in India has not been announced yet.
Several third-party websites currently list an expected price of around ₹47,999, but this should not be confused with Vivo’s official retail price. Smartprix, for example, currently lists ₹47,999 as the expected price for an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
The actual launch price could be different depending on the RAM and storage configuration, introductory offers and retail strategy.
For comparison, the Vivo V70 is currently listed by Vivo at around the ₹60,000 level in India. This means the V80 is likely to remain positioned in the premium mid-range segment, although the final pricing will only become clear at launch.

Vivo has officially confirmed that the V80 will launch in India on 6 October 2026 at 12 PM IST.
The smartphone will be offered in three colour options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black. Following its launch, customers will be able to purchase the phone through Vivo’s India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail outlets.
The timing makes the V80 particularly interesting for Indian consumers because the smartphone is arriving ahead of the festive shopping season.
Vivo V80 Display
The Vivo V80 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The screen supports up to 1.07 billion colours and has a reported local peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Vivo has also highlighted extremely narrow 1.25mm bezels, giving the phone a more immersive appearance.

Vivo V80 vs Vivo V70
The V80 appears to be an evolution of the V70 rather than a complete redesign of the V-series.
The display retains the 6.59-inch and 1.5K format but increases the refresh rate from 120Hz to 144Hz. The battery grows from 6,500mAh to 7,200mAh while retaining 90W charging. The camera system continues to emphasise 50MP ZEISS photography but adds strong telephoto and cinematic-video features.
