There, he completed his MBBS degree in 1966 and later specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery, earning his master’s degree in 1970.

His quest for medical excellence took him abroad as well. Dr. Rao received advanced training in Germany in microvascular and hand surgery. This international exposure enhanced his surgical skills and helped him introduce advanced orthopaedic practices in India.
